The Linie Aquavit – 200 years
Norway’s authentic contribution to the world’s drinking culture celebrated its 200th anniversary on 24th October 2005 – the day the merchantman "Throndhiems Prøve" of Trondheim crossed the equator. The second 200th anniversary was celebrated on 11th August 2007 - 200 years after the first Linie Aquavit returned to Norway.
